Free seven-day trial open to all mobile customers in Singapore

Singapore, 2 April 2013 – StarHub today announced the launch of ‘Game On’, Singapore’s first mobile game subscription service which gives StarHub Mobile post-paid subscribers easy access to over 100 of the world’s best and highly recommended Android games for $5.35 (30-day recurring subscription), rather than just buying one or two games for the same amount.

Due to the vast number of mobile games available in Google Play, Android users often find it challenging to decide which games they should spend their precious dollars on. When subscribed to Game On, the mobile user can browse, download and play all games in Game On’s catalogue, including critically-acclaimed titles, World of Goo, Chicken Invaders 3, Dark Nebula - Episode One and Anomaly Warzone Earth HD.

“Mobile gaming is one of the major drivers of smartphone take-up in Singapore, and it has become a regular part of our customers’ daily life. We are delighted to be the first mobile operator in Singapore to offer our mobile customers a play-all-you-want buffet of quality mobile game titles with our user-friendly game subscription service, all while controlling the overall cost of purchasing mobile games. Game On users can download, play and keep as many mobile games as they like for a flat subscription fee, which is lower than the price of about two regular game apps,” said Mr Stephen Lee, Assistant Vice President of I3, StarHub.

Game On is available to all StarHub Mobile post-paid customers from 6 April 2013. By the end of the year, Game On users can look forward to accessing over 400 premium Android games worth approximately $600 at no additional cost. The catalogue of games is updated regularly and curated by avid mobile game players around the world.

Starting this Saturday, interested gaming fans can find out more about the service and download the Game On app. They will be able to enjoy a free seven-day unrestricted trial, which is open to all mobile customers in Singapore.

Game On is built on Exent’s GameTanium platform, which offers a premium catalog of the most popular and best games in the world from hundreds of leading game publishers. Through GameTanium, StarHub will continue to evolve the Game On service, including a new tablet version.
