Chief Commercial Officer Kevin Lim to helm Sales
Chief Marketing Officer Jeannie Ong will oversee Marketing
Singapore, 6 August 2013 – StarHub announced today the realignment of its Sales and Marketing functions, with the promotion of two key executives.
Effective from 1 August 2013, StarHub’s Sales functions for both consumers and enterprises will be led by new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Kevin Lim, while all Marketing functions will be under the wing of new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Jeannie Ong.
The new appointments and realigned functions reflect StarHub’s commitment to be Singapore’s first choice for information, communications and entertainment services—as it evolves to meet more readily and agilely the needs of customers in the digital multi-play era, as well as to compete more effectively in the marketplace.
Kevin Lim, previously the Managing Director of StarHub’s Enterprise Business Group, will continue to oversee the company’s business with commercial entities, ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations. He is also in charge of the International Business Group, which is responsible for international product management, carrier sales, inter-carrier agreements and international network strategy. Following his promotion to CCO, he will also take charge of StarHub’s Consumer Sales team and enhancing the retail experience for StarHub customers.
Newly appointed CMO Jeannie Ong was previously StarHub’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations. In addition to providing strategic counsel in the areas of Corporate Communications, Investor Relations and Corporate Sustainability, she also oversees StarHub’s Marketing and manage its Customer Value Management team following her promotion.
