Singapore, 12 February 2008 - StarHub has scored another goal in its offering of sports content. The second largest info-communication company in Singapore announced today that it has won the exclusive broadcast rights for the 2008 UEFA European Football Championship (UEFA EURO 2008™).
The UEFA European Football Championship, held every four years, enjoys a large following in Singapore. The highly-anticipated UEFA EURO 2008™ will take place in Austria and Switzerland, from 7 to 29 June 2008.

StarHub's UEFA EURO 2008™ broadcast rights cover the 'live' telecast of all 31 matches, from Group Phase to the Final, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies. The pay-TV operator also plans to offer the unprecedented telecast of all UEFA EURO 2008™ matches in high-definition.

StarHub holds the exclusive broadcast rights of the Barclays Premier League (BPL) for three seasons in Singapore, commencing from the current season. The number of dedicated sports channels offered by StarHub is an impressive 10. In addition, StarHub will also offer selected sports events on its Pay-Per-View and Demand TV platforms.
