StarHub Scores Another First ... Who's Next?
Singapore, 1 August 2003 - StarHub has gone beyond Free Incoming Calls and continues to add value to our customers. From this Sunday 3 August 2003, StarHub Mobile customers can make free IDD calls to all parts of US, China and Hong Kong*. This applies to IDD calls made to both fixed and mobile numbers in these destinations. All new and existing StarHub post-paid and pre-paid (Green) mobile customers will enjoy this service, seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
StarHub has always been the leader in providing innovative service that benefits consumers. It was the first local mobile operator that offered first-in-market value features such as Free Incoming Calls, and continue to provide more savings with Per Second Billing and Whole Day Flat Rate as early as three years ago. It also introduced innovative features like Airtime Rollover where StarHub customers are able to carry over the previous month's unused free minutes to the current month.
StarHub revolutionised the IDD market last year with its innovative no IDD 018 charge to Malaysia allowing StarHub Mobile customers to call Malaysia for free all day, every day#. Now, by extending free IDD charges to the popular destinations of US, China and Hong Kong, mobile phone users have another compelling reason to choose and stay with StarHub.
