Meet the Wrestling Superstars at the Official Opening of StarHub Shops at Plaza Singapura

Singapore, 3 December 2003 – Be part of the hard-slamming action this December at the WWE ^® “Passport to SmackDown! ^®” Singapore Tour! Co-sponsored by StarHub, wrestling enthusiasts can experience electrifying performances from the likes of “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Brock Lesnar ^TM, The Big Show ^TM, John Cena ^TM, Eddie Guerrero ^TM, Chris Benoit ^®, WWE Tag Team Champions the Basham Brothers ^TM with Shaniqua ^TM, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Tajiri ^TM, Rey Mysterio ^TM, Nathan Jones ^TM and the WWE SmackDown! Divas Dawn Marie ^TM and Nidia ^TM, as they battle for control in and out of the ring on 5 December 2003 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. This will give the multitude of fans from around the region the opportunity to witness the event first hand, a spectacle that was only previously available to fans in North America.

WWE ^® “Passport to SmackDown! ^®” Tour is a live show that provides unique brand of entertainment through sport (wrestling), action, athletisicism, acrobatics, satire and comedy. StarHub currently provides a weekly telecast of four WWE ^® programmes via SuperSports (Channel 22): WWE ^®   SmackDown!, WWE ^®   Raw, WWE ^®   Heat and WWE ^®   Confidential.

Fans can look forward to going on stage to play games with the wrestlers and selected lucky StarHub customers will also get exclusive posters and autographs from the wrestlers as well.

To celebrate the official opening of its shops, StarHub will also be hosting a roadshow filled with activities, free gifts and special offers for customers at Plaza Singapura from 5 to 7 December 2003 from 11am to 9pm daily.
