Free preview of the world of Chinese entertainment on StarHub Digital Cable!

• StarHub offers its customers one month of free Chinese programmes

Singapore, 24 January 2007 - Celebrate this Lunar New Year with 5566, Jet Li and Kim Rae Won in the comforts of your home! For the entire month of February 2007, viewers can look forward to an exciting line-up of entertaining and exciting Asian dramas, blockbusters, variety programmes and more on StarHub Digital Cable's Preview Channel (Channel 01) for free!

The 14 channels participating in StarHub's free preview are Asia Plus, Celestial Movies, CTI TV, E City, ETTV Asia, Jet TV, Phoenix Chinese Channel, Phoenix InfoNews, STAR Chinese Channel, STAR Chinese Movies, TVB8, TVBS-Asia, VV Drama and XING KONG.

The Preview Channel will run for 24 hours daily for the period of the preview, with a ‘live' feed extracted from the 14 Chinese channels that are carried by StarHub. The wide array of programmes scheduled for this one-month free preview will ensure that there is something to satisfy every viewer.

Viewers can expect top-rated Asian dramas and blockbusters that are premiering on TV including Hong Kong drama Under The Canopy Of Love (starring Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow), blockbuster movie Fearless (starring Jet Li), Korean drama Which Star Are You From? (starring Kim Rae Won) and Japanese drama Meteor Garden (starring Matsumoto Jun and Oguri Shun).

Other key programmes that viewers can look forward to include:

• Lady First – Hosted by popular singer-actress Lan Hsin-Mei, Lady First is the programme that seeks to provide female audience with more useful tips and information on lifestyle, fashion and beauty care products.
• The 27 th Blue Dragon Awards - Catch the new superstar King And The Clown 's Lee Jun-ki who is the nominee for Best New Actor Award; and favourite director Boog Joon-ho whose record-breaking monster movie The Host grasped a total of five awards out of ten nominations.
• The Young And Daring VIII - Hosted by popular group 5566, this variety show promises you a fun-filled time with endless laughter and thrills!
• Gossip Queen - Join fashion and gossip queen Regine for a refreshing evening as she discusses various social phenomenon and news events from the viewpoint of women.

Existing subscribers of StarHub Digital Cable can enjoy the Preview Channel on Channel 01, while non-subscribers can tune their TV sets manually to UHF 527.25 Mhz. The manual tuning-in procedures will vary according to different TV set models, and viewers are advised to refer to their TV operating manuals for specific tuning instructions.

The generic tuning-in procedures are:

• Select an unused channel on the TV unit.
• Press the TUNNING button on the TV remote control or at the front panel of the TV unit, commonly labeled as [PRESET], [INSTALL], [SET], [P/C] or [MENU>TUNE>MANUAL]. If the TV unit does not have any of these buttons, please refer to the TV manual.
• Start tuning by pressing or selecting the VOLUME +/- button or the CHANNEL UP/DOWN button on the TV remote control until the Free Preview channel appears on the screen.
• Next, press the STORE or MEM button on the TV remote control to store the tuning.
• Press the MENU or PRESET button to end or exit the tuning procedure.
