StarHub TV launches Channel [V] India and EROS Bollywood On Demand; bringing total number of Hindi channels to eight
Singapore, 27 January 2012 – It’s a good day to be a Hindi entertainment fan! StarHub is expanding its stellar line-up of Hindi content to include Channel [V] India (StarHub TV Channel 132) and EROS Bollywood On Demand (StarHub TV Channel 142). Both channels will be launched on 31 January 2012, 8:30am, giving StarHub viewers a grand total of eight exciting Hindi entertainment channels to choose from.

Channel [V] India (StarHub TV Channel 132)
Channel [V] India features the latest chart-topping music videos, popular reality shows, blockbuster movie previews and reviews, celebrity interviews, concert specials and lifestyle programmes.
Catered to music lovers who want to stay on top of the latest trends and pop culture scene in India, Channel [V] India will also carry reality shows such as [V] Campus Blogs and [V] Dil Dosti Dance. In addition, the channel will host a variety of programmes based on Hindi movies such as Bollywood OMG, Deadly Dus, Behind the Sins and [V] Bollytics.
Channel [V] India will be packed together with STAR Gold (StarHub TV Channel 129) to form a new pack called the STAR Hindi Movies & Music Pack. The pack will be available to StarHub TV subscribers at a monthly subscription of $8.56 (w/GST); existing STAR Gold subscribers will enjoy Channel [V] India at no additional charge.
As a special promotion, StarHub subscribers who sign up for the STAR Hindi Movies & Music Pack between 31 January and 31 March 2012 will enjoy a 50 percent discount of $4.28 (w/GST) per month for their first three months of subscription.
To give customers a chance to sample the new pack, StarHub is offering all its TV customers a two-week free preview of STAR Gold and Channel [V] India from 31 January to 14 February 2012.
EROS Bollywood On Demand (StarHub TV Channel 142)
With EROS Bollywood On Demand, viewers will be able to catch the latest Bollywood blockbusters and classic movies at their convenience.
The on demand channel boasts the latest standout movies such as 2011’s big-budget science fiction flick Ra.ONE starring Shah Rukh Khan, as well as the sleeper hit comedy drama Yamla Pagla Deewana which grossed over 86.50 crore (or 865 million rupees) despite costing only 20 crore to produce.
EROS Bollywood On Demand also includes timeless classics like the love storySaajan which stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan. Released in 1991, the movie was a box office hit and went on to win multiple Filmfare Awards.
EROS Bollywood On Demand will be offered to StarHub TV subscribers at a monthly subscription of $8.56 (w/GST). A HubStation, HubStation HD or HD Interactive set-top box is required to access the On Demand Channel.
