Singapore, 21 June 2013 – StarHub took home two trophies at the prestigious 2013 Asia Communication Awards dinner: the coveted Operator of the Year award and the inaugural Best Brand award for their “Home is Where the Heart is” campaign. The Singapore infocommunications company was one of the biggest winners this year and is the first Singaporean operator to win the Operator of the Year.
The Asia Communication Awards—open to all telecommunication businesses and communication providers—recognises the achievements of Asian telecoms companies and the individuals responsible for the innovations, achievements and great new services that are helping to build tomorrow’s industry.
The Operator of the Year Award recognises leading players in the region that address customer needs in terms of quality, reliability and customer service. Judges were looking for strong and innovative service offerings, sound management, clear strategic direction and strong performance.
The Best Brand award is a new category introduced to recognise the organisation that has been most effective in creating a compelling brand for its products or services, in one or more branches of the media.
