Simply download the new ‘2-in-1 LINE’ app to get a second number
Singapore, 1 October 2014 – StarHub is the first mobile operator in Southeast Asia to allow its post-paid customers to easily get an additional mobile number just by downloading its new ‘2-in-1 LINE’ app.
With 2-in-1 LINE, customers can simultaneously use two StarHub Mobile services on a single SIM and phone. They can easily initiate calls or SMS using their secondary mobile number, which will be displayed on the recipient’s caller ID. Their existing primary line remains active throughout for data access as well as receiving calls and SMS.
Through the same app, users can manage a suite of other 2-in-1 LINE features, including a voicemail inbox with personalised greetings, comprehensive call filtering/blocking options and a separate mobile address book and call/text logs.

Activating 2-in-1 LINE is fuss-free, as there is no need for customers to replace their existing SIM or phone. Starting today, customers can simply download the 2-in-1 LINE app from Apple App Store or Google Play and log in with their Hub iD to choose their secondary number.
Early adopters who sign up for 2-in-1 LINE before 31 December 2014, will enjoy free access to the service for three months as a launch promotion (usual rate: $5.35/month). As an added perk, customers will enjoy unlimited local SMS over 2-in-1 LINE till 31 December 2014. All other usage, such as outgoing calls and global/roaming SMS, will be deducted from the customer’s primary mobile plan bundle.
