Today, we are pleased to enhance their viewing entertainment with the introduction of Asianet Movies. The launch of Asianet Movies also signifies StarHub's continuous efforts in catering to the needs of ethnic communities in Singapore," said Ms Lee Soo Hui, Head of Media Business Unit, StarHub.

"We are extremely pleased and excited to strengthen our offerings on StarHub TV with the launch of Asianet Movies, India’s first 24-hour Malayalam movie channel.  The channel showcases the best of Malayalam movies and we are confident that the Malayalee Diaspora in Singapore will be excited by this addition," expressed Mr Reghu Ramachandran, Senior Vice President of Asianet.

Viewers can look forward to some of the latest hit movies such as: Ennum Eppozhum, a comedy that tells the story of a lazy and uninspired senior reporter and a junior family court lawyer who is eager to pick up pro bono cases for the good of the society; Aadu Oru Beekara Jeeviyalla, a side-splitting movie about seven simpletons who went on a road trip in pursuit of a mythical plant; andImmanuel, a 2013 film by acclaimed director Lal Jose, that narrates the protagonist’s intrinsic goodness even in the face of adversity.

To watch Asianet Movies, StarHub TV customers can subscribe to the Nidhi Pack at $16.05 (including GST) per month. The Nidhi Pack comprises Asianet and Asianet Movies.
