Adam Christopher Seyer assumes the Chief Information Officer position while Audra Balasingam takes on the role of General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Singapore, 17 July 2024 – StarHub has announced the appointment of Adam Christopher Seyer as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Audra Balasingam as General Counsel and Company Secretary, with effect from 1 July 2024.
Adam directs the strategy for information technology at StarHub, overseeing the IT infrastructure, systems and applications that support the company’s business growth and customer-centric goals. His leadership will support StarHub’s transformation efforts and StarHub’s DARE+ ambitions while creating new growth and innovation opportunities.
Adam brings a wealth of experience in the technology, startup, and eCommerce/digital sectors. Prior to StarHub, Adam was Head of Engineering at Grab, where he managed technology services across an extensive portfolio of companies.
As General Counsel, Audra leads a team of lawyers providing strategic legal advice to StarHub’s business units. She also serves as StarHub’s Data Protection Officer, responsible for the company’s privacy and data protection compliance. In her role as Company Secretary, Audra oversees corporate secretarial matters pertaining to Singapore Exchange-listed StarHub Ltd as well as Group subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements and best practices.
Audra is a seasoned technology, media and info-communications lawyer who has handled and advised on a wide spectrum of legal matters. Prior to StarHub, Audra practised at a large law firm specialising in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
These leadership appointments strengthen StarHub’s capabilities to achieve its growth ambitions while delivering with unwavering focus to its customers and stakeholders.
