The initiative reflects StarHub’s commitment to using its content and connectivity ecosystem to create inclusive shared experiences for underserved communities.
Singapore, 9 March 2026 – As part of its commitment to social inclusion and accessible connectivity, StarHub supported a communal Iftar at Tee Up Dormitory on 8 March, followed by a live screening of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Final for more than 1,500 migrant workers.
To begin the evening, StarHub volunteers distributed dinner to Muslim migrant workers breaking fast alongside their non-Muslim friends. The shared meal provided a simple opportunity for residents to come together as a community. The night concluded with the live screening of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Final between India and New Zealand, with residents cheering for their favourite team during the broadcast.
The initiative forms part of StarHub’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility efforts to create shared, accessible experiences for underserved communities. As the Home of Sports, StarHub aims to extend live sporting moments beyond households and into community spaces across Singapore.
Additionally, StarHub also set up an on-site prepaid connectivity booth to provide affordable SIM options, in line with StarHub’s commitment to empowering migrant workers with access to essential connectivity, enabling them to stay in touch with loved ones and access digital services that support their daily lives. By combining live content with practical connectivity support, the initiative strengthens both social participation and digital access.
